As the increase in the productivity of agriculture releases labor force for other sectors, during several decades of the last century this relationship between agriculture and global economic growth was on the rise, pursuing industrialization and development. It is considered that the role of the sector is to help industrial development; therefore agricultural policies remain central in balancing the macro-economy of the world
